Introducing the HOKA x WTAPS capsule collection. Infusing hike and recovery favorites with streetwear edge.
From the creative mind of Testu Nishiyama, WTAPS and HOKA present the results of their first collaboration: a distinctive reinterpretation of HOKA’s ‘ANACAPA LOW GTX’ and ‘ORA LUXE’ models.
Departing from the conventional designs of these HOKA shoes, WTAPS introduces its signature style to the hiking shoe and recovery sandal, showcasing durable olive and black colorways. Prioritizing both form and function, the ‘ANACAPA LOW GTX’ features a soft suede upper combined with GORE-TEX technology for weather protection. Meanwhile, the ‘ORA LUXE’ emphasizes comfort and recovery with its sugarcane EVA midsole. Additional collaborative elements include WTAPS branding, orange heel tabs, and the iconic crossbones motif adorning both the ‘ORA LUXE’ and ‘ANACAPA LOW GTX’.

Anacapa Low GTX WTAPS
A hitmaker on the streetwear scene, WTAPS has garnered a cult following for their utilitarian-inspired staples. We teamed up with the Japanese brand to inject the Anacapa Low GTX with the same edgy aesthetic, reworking our versatile day hiker in jet black and olive tones and adding a silver printed deboss.
Ora Luxe WTAPS
A hitmaker on the streetwear scene, WTAPS has garnered a cult following for their utilitarian-inspired staples. We teamed up with the Tokyo-based brand to inject the Ora Luxe with the same edgy aesthetic, overhauling our signature recovery sandal with their iconic “crossed bones” graphic and revamping the cushy slide in jet black and olive tones.

In 1993, FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS® was started by director Tetsu Nishiyama, as a predecessor brand, and in 1996 WTAPS officially started as an apparel line. Collections continue to be released twice a year.
In November 2017, an archive book consolidating the 20 years of WTAPS was released. Collaborations with VANS beginning in 2005, and collaborations with brands such as HELLY HANSEN, OAKLEY, New Balance, Dr. Martens, HERSCHEL SUPPLY, and HUMAN MADE® continue after passing the 20 year milestone.

Started with friends in 1993, FORTY PERCENTS AGAINST RIGHTS® began with a D.I.Y. concept centered around silk screening.
WTAPS started in 1996 as a more structured apparel line, projecting influences the Director received from various cultures. From the 2015 spring/summer season, DESCENDANT was started under a theme of connecting the
Director’s now with the next generation, and continues to release a lineup of universal and standard items.
