Wearing a palette of mauve, lavender and grey, the ASICS GEL-Terrain by UP THERE draws from the autumnal hues of fallen leaves in the Australian bush contrasted by reflective prints from the natural veins within leaves which help plants harness the sun’s energy.
When ASICS approached UP THERE for a third collaboration, they knew we had to create something exceptional. Drawing inspiration from nature once again, we focused on the GEL-Terrain and its accompanying apparel collection.
The sneaker features a palette of mauve, lavender, and grey, reflecting the autumnal hues of the Australian bush. Accents of acid yellow and hot red add vibrant pops of color, while reflective underlays are adorned with a leaf venation pattern. Our GEL-Terrain is complemented by a t-shirt and a Pertex® Equilibrium jacket and cap combo, all featuring the same reflective details as the shoe.
About GEL-TERRAIN™
The GEL-TERRAIN™ sneaker draws inspiration from our GEL-FUJITRABUCO™ series. Dynamic lines from our early trail running archive are met with technical welding and no-sew elements.The tooling was borrowed from the GT-2000™ 8 sneaker. It combines FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning and GEL™ technology to help create a lightweight and energized feel for everyday scenarios.
